Finally got around to watching Rob Zombie’s House of 1000 Corpses and gotta say I was impressed. I really dug the way it was shot, the grain-y-ness of it, the overall art direction as well as all the vintage Halloween memorabilia in the background. Kind of had a Tarantino vibe to it as well. You can definitely tell he’s a fan of the genre – the entire thing’s pretty over the top. Good fun if you’re into that kind of thing. Now I have to check out The Devil’s Rejects.
