Iif you’re in Philadelphia this weekend and looking for some action – stop by the Slingluff Gallery this Saturday night for the opening of their newest show – A Ways Down to Ghost Town. My good friend Kevin Margitich will be showing a baker’s dozen worth of new paintings and Cassandra Warren will have some new illustrations for sale as well. As far as I know, the drink on hand will be Sly Fox, so escape this east coast heat spell by stopping in for a peek and a sip. Saturday June 5 from 6-9pm. 11 Girard Ave (between the M Room and Johnny Brenda’s)
And speaking of Slingluff, Jonathan K. will be showing some new paintings at Apple Jacks art space over at 319 North 11th street (fourth floor) this Friday night. I’ve seen a few photos of his new work and was super stoked on it. Should be a good time.
“I don’t care what the artist’s intention is. I don’t care about his intention at all. I either get it or I don’t.” Dennis Hopper – rest in peace man. You will be missed..
