Hello friends – I wanted to take a moment and give everyone a quick update on my latest musical project, Mighty Joe Castro and the Gravamen. We’ve been recording with our old friend Jim Salamone at Cambridge Sound Studio in South Philadelphia, working on four songs for an upcoming release. I am really excited with the way everything has turned out. The songs are mixed and in the process of being mastered so it won’t be long now.
In the meantime, we are excited to return to 1984 Barcade in Wilmington, Delaware. We’ll be bringing our rockabilly sound there on Friday June 22, sharing the stage with Adam Beck and our our old friends, The Collingwood. I have known Collingwood frontman and local filmmaker Chris Malinowski since the early 1990’s, when Nero would play shows with his former band, The Absurd, so I am especially looking forward to this one. And it always feels good to return home to Delaware. I am looking forward to seeing some familiar faces in the audience – hope to see you there.
More shows to come so please stay tuned. And if you haven’t done so already, please take a moment to follow the band on instagram and facebook.
