Truthful Witness is a collage I created for Allyson McCabe’s new book, Why Sinéad O’Connor Matters. University of Texas Press is the book’s publisher and it is in stores now.

I created the collage using images hand cut from old magazines with an exacto knife. I then dry adhere the pieces to paper with a gel medium. The size is roughly 12 x 18 inches. I completed it in June 2023. The title, Truthful Witness, came from the last chapter of the book.
I am a big fan of Sinéad’s music, so it was a real honor to work on this piece for the event. Thank you Allyson McCabe for reaching out to me. And I must say that I have read the book, and it is really excellent. I highly recommended it.
