First is the opening party for Four Corners: Design from Philly Surrounds at Minima . Curated by Royce Epstein and Caroline Tiger, the exhibit is part of Design Philadelphia and features “an “enactment” of a lived-in loft apartment that will contain a hand-picked selection of Philadelphia and Pennsylvania-based designs” and will include my collage Tornado Alley. The list of artists involved is pretty impressive (see below) and I feel very honored to be included. The opening party is free and open to the public and goes from 6-9 pm with libations provided by Art in the Age. The exhibit itself runs from October 10 – 20. Minima is located at 118 North 3rd Street, Philadelphia. Here’s the facebook event page.
I’ll be participating in two really cool events, in two different states, on Friday, October 12th. – hope you can make it to one (or both, if you’re the over-achiever type)….
Following the opening, I’ll be hitching a ride down I-95 South to Newark, De where The Lift Up will be playing Mojo Main with Blag’ard (from Chapel Hill, NC, ex-Capsize 7) It’s been a few months since our last gig, so we’re super excited to return to the stage and will be debuting a few new tunes. Plus we’ve got new stickers (pictured), so stop by and demand that we give you one. The show starts around 10pm. RSVP via facebook if you get down like that. And follow us on twitter if you haven’t already. Either way, don’t leave us lonely.
